METAL SLUG DEFENSE Game Trailer (English)

Question: What do you prefer more? British English or American English? And why?

Answer: English was taken to America by the Pilgrim Fathers who landed at Plymouth Rock at the end of the sixteeth century, and they spoke Elizabethan English.
American is a dielect of English and its development has diverged from its parent, British English. American English still has vestiges of Elizabethan English in the word ‘gotten’, not used in the UK, and words ending in “-zation.” British English softened the sound in the 1920’s to “-isation.” Other changes are the dropping of some letters in commonly used words like ‘colo(u)r’.
It’s a matter of personal choice which you use, but most people in Britain think Americans mangle the language.
